January 27, 2023 – Dover, DE: Baker, Ingram & Associates, Structural Engineers, is pleased to announce the promotion of Cherie J. Moore, P.E. to the position of Principal and Branch Manager within the firm. Mrs. Moore has the distinction of being the first female Principal and Shareholder with Baker, Ingram & Associates.
In addition to her new corporate role, Cherie will serve as Branch Manager of our office in Dover, DE. Moore’s primary responsibilities will be to oversee the daily operations — including the guidance of support staff and fellow engineers, quality control and business growth and development for the branch.
Mrs. Moore joined Baker, Ingram & Associates upon her graduation from The Pennsylvania State University in 2002. Since that time, Cherie has proven to be extremely valuable in her role as Senior Project Engineer. In 2019, she was named an Associate Principal for the firm.
With over 20 years of structural engineering experience, Mrs. Moore’s project portfolio includes educational, municipal and libraries, commercial, industrial, and retail facilities as well as waterfront structures.
Mrs. Moore’s ability to meet the demands of the project schedules, her commitment to the goals of her clients, her exemplary work ethic and management abilities make her a valued member of the leadership team.
