Baker, Ingram & Associates, Structural Engineers, is pleased to announce the naming of four new Associate Principals: Ian T. Walters, PE, Cherie J. Moore, PE, Jason D. Moore, PE and Matthew R. Young, PE. As Baker, Ingram & Associates begins its twentieth year “designing the framework for architectural excellence,” the installation of these new executives marks an exciting transition and solidifies the company’s presence in the industry for decades to come.

 

Ian T. Walters, PE has over 21 years of structural engineering experience and joined Baker, Ingram & Associates in 1999 at its inception. Ian is a 1997 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering Degree and holds a Masters of Civil Engineering Degree from Villanova University, graduating in 2012. Ian is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and Maryland and works in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania Branch Office. Ian’s industry experience includes healthcare projects, renovations, and repairs of existing buildings, educational facilities both new construction and additions/renovations, and industrial equipment structures.

 

Cherie J. Moore, PE is a long-term employee of Baker, Ingram & Associates, joining the firm in 2002. Cherie is a 2002 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering Degree and is a registered Professional Engineer in Delaware. Cherie’s experience includes commercial, educational, library, religious, and residential buildings of varying construction types including many waterfront and pile supported structures.

 

Jason D. Moore, PE is also a long-term employee of Baker, Ingram & Associates and holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering Degree from the Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 2002. Jason is a registered Professional Engineer in Delaware. Jason has extensive experience in educational facilities, mixed-use buildings, industrial structures, custom residential, and healthcare projects, including both new construction and renovation. Projects have varied in size and complexity, and have included numerous structural materials.

 

Both Cherie and Jason joined the firm immediately following their graduation from Penn State and each works in the Dover, Delaware Branch Office.

 

Matthew R. Young, PE joined the Haddon Heights, New Jersey Branch Office in 2011. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering Degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, graduating in 2010. He also holds Masters of Structural Engineering Degree from Lehigh University, graduating in 2011 and is a registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey. Matthew’s projects are diversified in both building type and construction materials and include numerous commercial, industrial and mixed-use structures. He has extensive experience with multi-story wood-framed buildings and steel-framed storage facilities.
