Current available positions:

Position: Professional Structural Engineer II (PE): TWO (2) positions available: 1-Annapolis, MD; 1-Dover, DE

Qualifications: Professional Structural Engineer II (PE) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience. Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering from an Accredited College/University and PE required.

Effective oral and written communication skills, sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices. Experience with steel, concrete, and wood design. Advanced computer skills including structural analysis and design software, word processing and spreadsheet software. AutoCAD® and Revit® literate.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the design and analysis of structural systems for assigned projects.
  • Functions as Project Manager as assigned.
  • Coordinates structural system design with architect (client) and other engineering disciplines.
  • Assists Project Manager as necessary in the preparation of design, analysis, detailing and supervision of project staff.
  • Assists in or conducts field investigations.
  • Review contractors required submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Prepares design sketches for final documentation.
  • Assists in CAD/Revit® drafting of plans and details.
  • Writes project specifications.
  • Prepares comprehensive technical reports.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective professional relationship with associates, clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
