This is the only remaining round barn in Delaware. Baker Ingram & Associates contracted to rebuild roof after original roof collapsed during a windstorm. (72' diameter, 40' high). Structural design a very close match of original, though several modern innovations ensured stability and quality of design. The roof was framed with radial 2 x 12 rafters fastened to original reinforced concrete walls with steel angles and epoxy anchors. Compression rings were built-up circular wood members. High-strength airplane cable tension ring was used at the upper roof slope transition.
