Description:
Manoa Elementary School, for grades K-5, accommodates four classrooms per grade level with a total capacity of 850 students. A reinforced masonry bearing and precast concrete plank structural system was utilized for the classroom wing to substantially reduce construction time and permit the overall height of the building to be limited to 30 feet due to zoning requirements.
