Description:
This project was a Natatorium intended for use by the entire student body as well as a local residence. It is part of the University’s new sports complex and features an indoor leisure pool to provide year-round swimming. The structural challenges included framing the roof over a large open floor plan, complex geometrical building footprint that featured a saw tooth exterior masonry fin wall system, and exposed structural elements.
